Citi News<\/strong>, Otiko Afisa Djaba emphasized the need for an apology to be rendered to the footballers and their officials over the non payment of their bonuses.<\/p>\n\u201cThey could have refused to play for failing to pay their bonuses but they played and won gold only to come home to be insulted and abused, that is unforgivable\u2026 the Minister should be sacked if they don\u2019t pay them these monies, what is good for the men is also good for the women,\u201d Madam Afisa Djaba said.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile the Communications and Advocacy Manager of Women\u2019s Right Organization, WiLDAF-Ghana, Patricia Isabella Essel has described the unpaid bonus impasse as unfair.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is simply not fair to say that what is their due is not being given to them, they should ensure that their \u00a0entitlement is given to them\u2026it\u2019s long overdue,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
