Former Ghana goalkeeper\u2019s trainer Abubakar Damba says he expects Adam Kwarasey and Black Stars goalkeeper\u2019s trainer Nasamu Yakubu to work perfectly after the goalkeeper confirmed recall into the national team.<\/p>\n
Adam Kwarasey is expected to make a return to the national team in the international friendly against Canada after 16 months out.<\/p>\n
The 27-year-old goalkeeper claimed skipper Asamoah Gyan, and defender John Boye influenced then Coach Kwesi Appiah in replacing him with Fatau Dauda hours before Ghana\u2019s world cup Group game against Germany in Brazil.<\/p>\n
The Norway born Ghana international also questioned the capabilities of goalkeeper\u2019s trainer Nasamu Yakubu before laying down his tolls for his nation.<\/p>\n
But Abubakar Damba who himself is a former national goalkeeper says a lot of water has passed under the bridge and player and goalkeeper should bond well.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think the most important thing at the moment is the nation,\u201d Damba told Accra based Citi-FM
\n\u201cIt\u2019s not the time for individual ego\u2019s and all that the player and Coach should work together for the gain of the nation.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMore so a lot of water has passed under the bridge and this should help them settle well.\u201d<\/p>\n
Ghana will take on Canada in an international friendly on October 13th in Washington.<\/p>\n
