{"id":154495,"date":"2015-09-24T16:42:45","date_gmt":"2015-09-24T16:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=154495"},"modified":"2015-09-25T06:29:24","modified_gmt":"2015-09-25T06:29:24","slug":"mahama-commissions-4-helicopters-to-police-ghana-gas-project-photos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=154495","title":{"rendered":"Mahama commissions 4 helicopters to police Ghana Gas project [Photos]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday commissioned four (4) helicopters to police the Ghana Gas project and ensure adequate security on the nation&#8217;s onshore pipelines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The four Z-9 EH helicopters which would be operated by the Ghana Airforce will among other things ensure that the $1 billion Atuabo Gas Processing Plant is protected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking at the commissioning ceremony at the Airforce Base in Burma Camp, President John Mahama said the helicopters will enable Ghana Gas handle challenges that hinder the production of gas in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/helicopters-for-ghana-gas-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-154500 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/helicopters-for-ghana-gas-3.jpg\" alt=\"helicopters for ghana gas (3)\" width=\"536\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/helicopters-for-ghana-gas-3.jpg 536w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/helicopters-for-ghana-gas-3-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 536px) 100vw, 536px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThis four new jet 9 helicopters is historic because it represents a unique collaboration of two state institutions, the Ghana National Gas Company and the Ghana Airforce.
