Ahead of the coveted Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) which comes off on May 3 at the International Conference Center, organizers of the show have released a list of special awards to be given out before the main event.<\/p>\n
On Saturday April 26, the industry awards would come off at the Alisa Hotel to reward deserving personalities in the following categories<\/p>\n
1. Best Female Vocalist<\/p>\n
2. Best Male Vocalist<\/p>\n
3. Gospel Album of the Year<\/p>\n
4. Song Writer the Year<\/p>\n
5. Producer of the Year<\/p>\n
6. Instrumentalist of the Year<\/p>\n
7. Sound Engineer the Year<\/p>\n
8. Traditional Artiste of the Year<\/p>\n
9. Music for Development<\/p>\n
10. Musiga Merit Award<\/p>\n
11. Lifetime Achievement<\/p>\n
