Accra\u2019s changing skylines has informed recent arguments that the country\u2019s economy is booming\u00a0but financial analyst and editor of the Financial Post newspaper, Toma Imihere has described the development as a fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n
There has been a significant increase in the construction of luxury homes and high rise buildings across the city.<\/p>\n
According to him, a lot of the funds investors are using for these projects are \u2018hot money,\u2019 while other individual investors are also funding these\u00a0projects with \u201cillegitimate\u201d funds.<\/p>\n
