We said we were going to provide water to every town and village; we promised to strengthen our educational structures by providing good schools and health facilities in a bid to grant the people access to quality education. Indeed, our strategy at the beginning was to empower our people in Ellembele; and educational sponsorship and skills development programmes were put in place to ensure that the youth of this constituency will eventually assume the ownership of local companies and the result is what we are seeing today. We see industries that are springing up and it feels great to say that we have fulfilled this task.
