{"id":147687,"date":"2015-08-31T17:01:39","date_gmt":"2015-08-31T17:01:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=147687"},"modified":"2015-08-31T17:25:46","modified_gmt":"2015-08-31T17:25:46","slug":"stop-pressurizing-nana-addo-to-choose-campaign-manager-nitiwul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=147687","title":{"rendered":"Stop pressurizing Nana Addo to choose campaign manager &#8211; Nitiwul"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deputy Minority Leader in Ghana\u2019s Parliament, Dominic Nitiwul has asked members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP)\u00a0to desist from putting\u00a0pressure on the party\u2019s flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo to name his Campaign Manager for the 2016 elections now.<\/p>\n<p>He asked persons making such calls to support\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">the party&#8217;s leadership to pressurize the<\/span>\u00a0EC to create a new voters register before the elections.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;SIe8eAMDbRMVL8kLLXu45loE1qHBTQo5&#8243;]<span style=\"color: #333333;\">Pressure has been mounting<\/span> on Nana Akufo-Addo to name a Campaign Manager to lead the party in the 2016 elections.<\/p>\n<p>Though the name of former Chairman, Peter Mac Manu <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/08\/08\/why-peter-mac-manu-can-do-a-better-job-as-npp-campaign-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><span style=\"color: #666699;\">has popped up<\/span> <\/strong><\/a>as possible Campaign Manager, the Bimbilla MP stated that\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">party supporters must be patient and redirect their focus. \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He[Nana Addo] knows who will be his campaign\u00a0coordinator. There is a campaign team that is already working.The campiagn was divided into three segments and\u00a0people are already coordinating&#8230; the person to coordinate the whole thing is what people are waiting for. There should not be a fuss about it,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The person to win us the election is the flagbearer not the campaign cordinator so if the flagbearer says today I don&#8217;t need a campaign coordinator I am going to coordinate it myself that is not a problem.What is important is that the party has a focus and our focus is that we should have a new voters&#8217; register because this [current voters register] is bloated.
