Speaking to Citi News’<\/strong> Kojo Agyeman, Leeford Kpakpo Quarshie said though ex-President Rawlings wields a lot of influence in the NDC, it does not mean his daughter can easily win the slot.<\/p>\n \u201cI have a lot of respect for former President Jerry John Rawlings. I think he is by far, one of the best presidents we\u2019ve ever had in this country and his daughter is welcomed to come and join us to win the seat for the NDC.\u201d<\/p>\n He said \u201cI will be willing to work with the daughter so that we can bring the glory for the NDC. It does not matter the personality that is going, what matters is that we retain the seat for the constituency.\u201d<\/p>\n Leeford Quarshie described himself as \u201cthe man for the grass root…the man who can do the job.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think that everybody should give me the opportunity to retain the seat for the NDC.
