{"id":145761,"date":"2015-08-24T05:47:36","date_gmt":"2015-08-24T05:47:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=145761"},"modified":"2015-08-24T05:47:36","modified_gmt":"2015-08-24T05:47:36","slug":"mahama-to-sign-260-million-ict-deal-with-mauritius-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=145761","title":{"rendered":"Mahama to sign $260 million ICT deal with Mauritius today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President John Dramani Mahama will today sign an agreement with Mauritius for the development of a US$260 million ICT enclave, which is expected to create in excess of 5,000 direct jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;OpGW5KzJbuxWiwdH7MtcnwofreNNjRDh&#8221;]The President who is <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/08\/23\/mahama-leaves-for-mauritius\/\" target=\"_blank\">currently in that country<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for a three-day state visit will also address a business forum tomorrow and on Wednesday, to inaugurate a new private university, African Leadership College, built by a Ghanaian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accompanying the President is the Minister for Trade and Industry, Ekwow Spio Garbrah, Minister for Communications Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and a Minister of State at the Presidency, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah.<\/p>\n<p>The visit will be an opportunity for the two countries to cement their bond of friendship and conclude trade discussions.<\/p>\n<p>The two countries will, after bilateral talks today sign a number of Memoranda of Understanding\/Agreements on bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>President Mahama will hold discussions with the President of Mauritius, Dr. (Mrs) Ameenah Gurib-Fakim.<\/p>\n<p>He will also grant audience to the Chief Justice Mr. Kheshoe Parsad Matadeen and the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Paul Raymond B\u00e9renger .<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Anerood Jugnauth will host him at a banquet on Monday, while President Ameenah Gurib-Fakim will host a lunch in his honour on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Raymond Acquah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President John Dramani Mahama will today sign an agreement with Mauritius for the development of a US$260 million ICT enclave, which is expected to create in excess of 5,000 direct jobs.
