By privatization, he means that there will be private sector participation. Of course, the asset belongs to the state. There is a private sector participation for twenty or so years, what it means is that they are looking for newer sources of revenue, newer ways of doing things, collecting revenue, expanding our assets and those funds cannot continuously come from the state, so there is a big difference,\u201d he explained<\/p>\n
\u201cSo what the president meant, I think is that there would be privatization of private sector participation and that is a very responsible call. It couldn’t have been put better by the president and in deed for some of us who have been watching the space for some time now, this is the boldest comment yet to come from the presidency,\u201d Franklin Cudjoe added.<\/p>\n
