{"id":14335,"date":"2014-04-19T03:58:06","date_gmt":"2014-04-19T03:58:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=14335"},"modified":"2014-04-19T07:31:09","modified_gmt":"2014-04-19T07:31:09","slug":"mahama-to-set-up-pilgrims-affairs-secretariat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=14335","title":{"rendered":"Mahama to set up Pilgrims Affairs Secretariat"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Board Chairman of the National Hajj Board, Alhaji Rauf Tanko says President John Dramani Mahama has set up a Committee to draft legislation for the setting up of a Pilgrims&#8217; Affairs Secretariat.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretariat, according to Alhaji Tanko ,will oversee the annual lifting of all pilgrims to the Holy City of Mecca.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rauf Tanko, the draft legislation will be sent to Parliament for approval if completed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe President has taken a decision.
