{"id":141567,"date":"2015-08-07T18:23:17","date_gmt":"2015-08-07T18:23:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=141567"},"modified":"2015-08-07T18:23:17","modified_gmt":"2015-08-07T18:23:17","slug":"ndc-chairman-remanded-for-attacking-dce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=141567","title":{"rendered":"NDC chairman remanded for attacking DCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chairman\u00a0 of the governing National Democratic Congress in the Mpraeso constituency has together with other executives have been remanded by a court for allegedly attacking the DCE of Kwahu South District.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;m8zZcjtAMGsGsPRStj8zFhK1C2WtMfxZ&#8221;]The Police in the District took over the Assembly to protect the DCE for the area, Joseph Omari, <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/08\/07\/ndc-executives-pepper-sprayed-by-dce\/\" target=\"_blank\">from being lynched<\/a><\/strong><\/span> by some irate executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reaction of the executives comes after three of them were pepper sprayed the spraying at the office of the DCE to enquire about a working visit of the Eastern Regional Minister, Antwi Bosiako-Sekyere, to the constituency.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The brother of the Constituency Chairman who confirmed this to <strong>Citi News<\/strong>, said he is seeking for bail for the NDC chairman.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOther party executives including the organizer, deputy organizer and deputy secretary have all been remanded,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meanwhile, the\u00a0DCE and his constituency branch executives have allegedly been at logger heads for some time now, a situation which is reportedly affecting development in the area.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DCE is also said to have been suspended from the NDC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Godwin A.
