I felt that I needed to do something about the situation. The whole process culminated the error\u2026with the greatest respect it think it was diabolical,\u201d he complained.<\/p>\n<p>[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;ACgP0I2k2pzJag6MCY37ONNo0FNdwK4K&#8221;]Charles Antwi was on Tuesday handed a 10-year jail term for illegally possessing fire arm.<\/p>\n<p>Although the Police were in court to seek a remand, the Judge after Antwi\u2019s confession <a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/07\/28\/gunman-in-mahamas-church-jailed-10-years\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong>pronounced judgement<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>after an amendment was made to the charge.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution felt Antwi was not mentally stable but the judgment dismissed their claims, insisting Antwi was fine and jailed him.<\/p>\n<p>His sentencing provoked intense public debate with many<span style=\"color: #666699;\"> <strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/07\/28\/gunmans-trial-was-a-bit-flawed-ndebugri\/\" target=\"_blank\">criticizing the ruling<\/a><\/strong><\/span> of the Judge.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to <strong>Citi News<\/strong>, lawyer Adjei-Gyamfi argued that when a person indicted or charged with an offence, \u201cit does not matter how grave the indictment may be, he is well entitled to be accorded the due process of law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn this case, I am afraid it did not happen at all.
