Victims of the June 3 floods who live in Adabraka are accusing officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) of bias in the distribution of relief items.<\/p>\n
NADMO has been distributing relief items\u00a0to victims of the flood and fire disaster\u00a0which left over 150\u00a0dead and hundreds displaced after government allocated \u00a0a GH\u00a250 million package to assist the victims.<\/p>\n

However, some residents the NADMO officials have failed to carry out the distribution in an orderly manner.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey came to write our names twice. This is the third time and I have still not received a thing. They should distribute the things like the way they came to write the names and stop the unfair treatment they are giving to us especially when we were most affected by the floods\u201d, a victim remarked<\/p>\n
Another victim expressed her anger saying, \u201cI lost a lot and the things would not amount to even five percent of what I lost but I appreciate the effort. However, they should go according to the list and stop distributing it in the way they deem fit\u201d.<\/p>\n
