A group calling itself, concerned youth of Ablekuma Central Constituency (CYACC) is pushing for member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC),\u00a0Peter Boamah Otokunor\u00a0to contest in the party\u2019s primaries in the Ablekuma Central Constituency.<\/p>\n
According to them, because the constituency is a swing type, the \u201cNDC risks losing the seat to the NPP if a formidable candidate is not presented to the electorates in 2016″ hence their resolve.<\/p>\n

Most party members have openly indicated their desire for an affable, selfless, humble, dedicated, committed, transparent, truthful and above all a unifier to lead them into 2016,\u201d the group added.<\/p>\n
They claim their call on Otukunor to contest in the NDC\u2019s primaries is premised on his continues exhibition of leadership qualities.<\/p>\n
The group added that Otokunor \u201chas performed par excellence in both his public and private life among his contemporaries. For instance, as JCR president of the Commonwealth hall of the University of Ghana he executed his duties diligently and became the favorite of many in the hall including authorities.\u201d<\/p>\n
In a related development, if Otokunor accepts the mantle, he will be facing the incumbent NDC MP, Theophilus Tetteh Chai in the primaries.<\/p>\n
