He urged Muslims that\u00a0such \u201cdevilish\u201d acts would attract the wrath of Allah.<\/p>\n

He said Ramadan is the period of fasting and giving of alms to people in the society and therefore urged Muslims to continue showing benevolence to all manner of people and abide by the teachings of Q’uran, in order to receive blessings from Allah.<\/p>\n
Alhaji Awal also charged Muslims not to engage in corruption but should rather exhibit honesty and fairness.<\/p>\n
He asked Muslims across the country to pray for the government and the peace of this country.<\/p>\n
The Western Regional Minister, Paul Evans Aidoo, commended Muslims for successfully ending the fast and urged all religious bodies to partner government to accelerate the socio-economic development of the country.<\/p>\n
