{"id":133457,"date":"2015-07-11T08:48:58","date_gmt":"2015-07-11T08:48:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=133457"},"modified":"2015-07-11T09:33:38","modified_gmt":"2015-07-11T09:33:38","slug":"gregory-afokos-accomplice-granted-bail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=133457","title":{"rendered":"Gregory Afoko&#8217;s accomplice granted bail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">An Accra Magistrate court has granted bail to Musa Issa, the third accused person involved in the murder of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Chairman Adam Mahama.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[contextly_sidebar id=&#8221;bfMKo0eGYrqyleEV8pEBiis2xHrWJP3H&#8221;]The court hearing the matter granted the suspect bail to the sum of GHc20,000 on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The court, presided over by Justice Worlanyo Kotoku, however, denied bail to the main suspect, Gregory Afoko who is still in Police custody.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The judge ruled that he had no \u201cjurisdiction\u201d to grant bail to Gregory Afoko.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The three suspects Gregory Afoko who is the younger brother of the National Chairman of the NPP Paul Afoko, Asabke Alangbi who is at a large and Musah Issah who is alleged to have <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/05\/21\/npp-upper-east-chairman-attacked-with-acid\/\" target=\"_blank\">bought the acid for the crime<\/a><\/strong><\/span> have been charged with conspiracy to commit crime and murder.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NPP Upper East Chairman Adam Mahama was attacked with acid on his way home on 20th May 2015 by two people and later died of <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/05\/26\/adam-mahama-died-from-extensive-acid-burns-autopsy-report\/\" target=\"_blank\">extensive acid burns<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kojo Agyeman\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An Accra Magistrate court has granted bail to Musa Issa, the third accused person involved in the murder of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Chairman Adam Mahama.
