It\u2019s the question on everyone\u2019s lips: how many iPhones does it take to stop a bullet fired from an AK-74 assault rifle?<\/p>\n

According to the team at EverythingApplePro \u2013 a YouTube channel based in Portland and dedicated to reviewing Apple products \u2013 the answer is five.<\/p>\n

Testing the durability of the iPhone, and seeing whether it is capable of saving a life, the team line up eight handsets and lock and load.<\/p>\n

Fired from the gun is a steel core bullet, which the tester explains can travel at up to 2,900 feet per second, and will therefore obliterate the first couple of phones.<\/p>\n

Filming on a regular camera \u2013 one that does no possess slow motion capabilities \u2013 the team get started and fire at the phones for the first time.<\/p>\n

Travelling through four iPhones, the bullet lands in the screen of the fifth and interestingly appears to create more damage to the handsets the further it travels.<\/p>\n
