{"id":13077,"date":"2014-04-13T11:55:01","date_gmt":"2014-04-13T11:55:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=13077"},"modified":"2014-04-13T11:55:01","modified_gmt":"2014-04-13T11:55:01","slug":"dont-pay-increased-fares-gprtu-to-passengers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=13077","title":{"rendered":"Don\u2019t pay increased fares \u2013 GPRTU to passengers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ghana Private Road Transport Union, (GPRTU) is urging patrons of commercial buses not to pay any increased fares.<\/p>\n<p>Some commercial bus drivers have increased fares following recent increases in fuel prices.<\/p>\n<p>But according to the GPRTU, after meetings with the Transport Ministry, its members agreed not to increase transport fares.<\/p>\n<p>The Union\u2019s Chairman, Alhaji Manu is therefore asking passengers not to pay more for their transport fares.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you go to the station and someone wants to charge you with new fares why should you pay? Don\u2019t pay!
