\u201cThe public should do well to listen to the weather forecast in order to know how best to plan their activities over the weekend,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On the trend of the current rainy season, Mr Padi said the \u201cactive systems\u201d had moved slightly north.<\/p>\n
He said this meant the southern parts of the country would now experience intermittent light rains, especially in the mornings.<\/p>\n
\u201cA typical example is what was experienced in some parts of the country this morning, when it rained very lightly and quite briefly,\u201d Mr Padi said.<\/p>\n
The northern part of the country on the other hand, has begun to experience its major and only rainy season, said the senior meteorologist.<\/p>\n
