Speaking to Citi News<\/strong> the Public Relations Officer of the Accra Regional Police Command ASP Effia Tenge said her outfit has\u00a0intensified their search for the lady.<\/p>\n[contextly_sidebar id=”6dEiyqt5sjgkie91WWxjzo6IHgfisqw3″]\u201cThis lady after pouring the acid on this gentleman bolted and the police have intensified their search for her. She poured acid on him and you\u00a0 can see the severe bruises on his face and also some part of his body. For now the victim is in a critical condition at the 37 Military Hospital,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
Narrating the story to Citi News<\/strong>, ASP Tenge said a taxi driver who earlier dropped the two off at Madina from North Kaneshie returned only to see the couple in a fight.<\/p>\nThe driver said he attempted to separate the two but failed.<\/p>\n
Another person who also attempted to separate the two was injured when the acid was poured on Eric.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is despicable that people will think and actually use acid as a weapon and the police will do everything possible to arrest the suspect and get to the bottom of this matter,\u201d she stated sternly.<\/p>\n
Eric Ohemeng is said to be a third year student at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).<\/p>\n
