President Mahama has commissioned ten water supply systems in Fetentaa in the Berekum municipality of the Brong Ahafo region.<\/p>\n

The inauguration is part of the Peri-urban rural and small town water and sanitation project being implemented across the country at a cost of 21 million euros.<\/p>\n

[contextly_sidebar id=”Aecf2X5dhCtJmoxLPKJjygR7nvhENhpo”]The President, after the Commission stated that government’s aim is to achieve 75 percent rural water access by the end of this year.<\/p>\n

The Chief of Berekum, Daasebre Dr Amankona Diawuo, mentioned some school projects and cocoa roads in the district that need immediate attention.<\/p>\n

On Friday, June 26, President Mahama will be expected to inaugurate another\u00a0water system at Kajiji in the Sene East District as well as\u00a0inspect on-going road works at Kwame Danso in the Sene West District.<\/p>\n

He will climax his tour with the inspection of a completed Polyclinic at Bomaa in the Tano North District.<\/p>\n

President Mahama is expected back in Accra on Friday.<\/p>\n
