Citi News<\/strong> however understands that the Ministry of Health acting on the advice of the NLC has given a framework on the GMA\u2019s conditions of service to the doctors to study.<\/p>\n In an interview with Citi News<\/strong>, GMA General Secretary Dr. Frank Serebour stated the meeting will among other things, strategize on the way forward.<\/p>\n He mentioned that the agenda for the emergency council meeting is very simple; to deliberate on their conditions of service.<\/p>\n The doctors since November 2014 have been issuing a series of warnings<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to the government in demand for conditions of service.<\/p>\n They threatened to resign at the end of June 2015 should their demands not be met.<\/p>\n The Health Ministry had early on said it was unsure if it would be able to meet the doctors\u2019 deadline<\/a><\/strong><\/span> but it seems to have managed to work within the stipulated time frame.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sure we all remember that we have put forward in the media since November last year that if by the end of this month we don\u2019t get our conditions of service, we were going to consider ourselves unemployed,\u201d Dr. Serebuor narrated.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n By: Efua Idan Osam\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana![\"IMG-20150625-WA0000\"](\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/IMG-20150625-WA00001.jpg\")
