A 23-year-old son of former Majority Leader in Parliament Cletus Avoka, Maxwell Avoka has died.<\/p>\n

Maxwell died on Thursday after going through an initial rigorous military exercise popularly referred to as \u201cdonning\u201d.<\/p>\n

A family member who confirmed his death to Citi News<\/strong> said Maxwell was bleeding from the nose when he was identified at the hospital.<\/p>\n

He was reportedly dropped off at the Ghana Military Academy at Teshie on Thursday morning by his elder brother\u00a0and died in the\u00a0afternoon.<\/p>\n

His father, Cletus Avoka is currently away in Malaysia on an official assignment and is on his way back.<\/p>\n

When Citi News<\/strong> contacted the Ghana Armed Forces, they declined to comment on the matter.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, further checks by Citi News<\/strong> has also revealed that another recruit has been sent to the 37 military hospital after collapsing during training.<\/p>\n
