Nii Noi Nortey, who is also the former chairman of the NPP in the area is facing the party\u2019s Appeals Committee for allegedly presenting a \u00a0fake University of Ghana certificate<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to the NPP\u2019s vetting committee.<\/p>\n Sammi Wiafe added that the Appeals Committee postponed deliberations on the new petition.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, \u00a0some members of the NPP from the Korley Klottey \u00a0constituency in the Greater Accra Region say they will not vote for the party if their preferred candidate one\u00a0 Nii Noi Nortey is not cleared to contest the primaries.<\/p>\n Leader of the group, calling itself concerned supporters of NPP, Prince Kissi told Citi News<\/strong> the NPP must tread cautiously.<\/p>\n \u201cNPP should forget Korley Klottey if they disqualify Nii, because we don\u2019t see the essence of sacrificing for the party anymore. This young man sacrificed as the chairman and has done a lot of development for the party. See how the party is looking lucrative within the constituency,\u201d he fumed.<\/p>\n Prince Kissi also touted some of Nii Nortey\u2019s achievement saying, the NPP under his leadership has taken hold of NDC strongholds like Osu Alata and “has been training polling station executives, putting up good welfare schemes to take care of party members.
