When I was coming to Parliament, I defeated somebody older than me. Of all the three candidates I was the youngest yet I defeated them all. If age matters or counts in elections, I was the youngest of the three that I defeated in the year 2004. So if somebody is the youngest that has defeated the four of us, why should I complain? Her strategies worked better than I did and that is why she has won.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_124706\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-124706\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/download3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-124706\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/download3.jpg\" alt=\"MP for Kwabre East, Kofi Frimpong.\" width=\"300\" height=\"447\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-124706\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">MP for Kwabre East, Kofi Frimpong.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Francisca Oteng-Mensah, a law student <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/06\/13\/npp-primaries-22-year-old-knust-student-wins-kwabre-east\/#sthash.FLvVJSJ2.dpbs\"><strong>beat incumbent MP<\/strong><\/a><\/span>\u00a0Kofi Frimpong by polling 321 votes in the primaries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr Frimpong secured 187 votes while two other aspirants, Lawyer Osei-Poku and K. Adjei-Sefa polled 202 and 33 votes respectively.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a related development, <span style=\"color: #666699;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #666699;\" href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/2015\/06\/15\/i-dont-know-why-i-lost-addai-nimo-laments\/#sthash.XLleZDt0.dpbs\" target=\"_blank\">24 other incumbent NPP MPs lost<\/a><\/strong><\/span> their bid in the primaries.
