The newly elected New Patriotic Party (NPP)\u00a0Parliamentary Candidate for the Kwabre East constituency, Francisca Mensah is optimistic her academic work will not affect her Parliamentary duties.<\/p>\n

She will therefore contest in the 2016 general elections on the ticket of the party.<\/p>\n

Many have raised concerns over her decision to contest for the position while in school but the law student \u00a0believes her studies will not affect her political career.<\/p>\n

“I am very much ready,there is a saying that education never ends. We have so many Parliamentarians who are schooling, we have so many Parliamentarians that are\u00a0even now reading law… so I think combining both education and\u00a0Parliamentary work will not be a problem for me,” she told Citi News.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile newly elected NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the Afigya Sekyere East constituency in the\u00a0Ashanti Region, Mavis Nkansah Boadu\u00a0<\/span>has said s<\/span>he is aware of the enormous task ahead of her as she prepares for Parliamentary duties in 2017.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

She\u00a0defeated incumbent,\u00a0Henrick Yeboah \u00a0but many have questioned her capacity for the job if she wins.<\/p>\n

However\u00a0speaking to Citi News,<\/strong>Mavis Nkansah Boadu said criticism\u00a0will not affect her objective to transform the<\/span>\u00a0constituency.<\/span><\/p>\n

“As I always say I don’t\u00a0think age is a measure of wisdom, it is from God and I think God has really blessed me.I think that the message I gave to them was very convincing and they actually believed that I was here to work for them. Before I even decided to do this, I really worked hard with the constituency, I have been there for time to time.”<\/p>\n
