The Member of Parliament for Mampong, Francis Addai Nimo has said losing the ticket to represent the party in the 2016 parliamentary election came to him as shock.<\/p>\n
The MP who contested the NPP presidential primaries in 2014, said he still has not been able to figure out what might have caused his defeat.<\/p>\n

It is too early too for me to analyze and come out with any factor or factors which might have contributed to that,\u201d he told Citi News<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cI have conveyed my message in a clear concise manner to the delegates and my campaign had been clean, I mobilized the logistics to support the campaign. So on the day of election I was so confident that my constituents will reelect me to contest the 2016 general elections.”<\/p>\n Addai Nimo polled 207 votes as against Kwaku Ampratwums Sarpong\u2019s 232 votes.<\/p>\n He however promised to continue to work to deliver victory for the NPP in 2016 saying \u201cI\u2019m going to campaign to ensure victory for our party.\u201d<\/p>\n
