Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur has charged Christians to reach out to the\u00a0victims of the floods and fire disaster.<\/p>\n

According to the Vice President, assisting the needy comes with many blessings from God.<\/p>\n
Vice President Amissah-Arthur made the appeal at the Dedication of a health facility, Mother\u2019s Bay, built by the Tema Diocese of the Methodist Church, for the Tema General Hospital last Saturday.<\/p>\n
The 18-bed facility, which cost GH\u00a2145,692, is a separate structure attached to the children\u2019s ward of the Hospital to accommodate \u00a0pregnant women in labour.<\/p>\n
Dr Kwabena Opoku Edusei, the Medical Director of the Tema General Hospital, appealed to the Government to complete all the Hospital’s abandoned projects, including the central theatre and maternity block.<\/p>\n
He also appealed to government to build an ultra modern 500-bed hospital at the Hospital’s premise saying it was long overdue.<\/p>\n
