A thirty-one year woman has been shot at Nkonya Kejebi in the Volta region.<\/p>\n

It is unclear what caused the shooting incident.<\/p>\n
Correspondent, Gratham Macintosh reported that the lady, Ama Owusua was shot \u201cwhile she was going to fetch water.\u201d<\/p>\n
He added that though the lady survived the attack she sustained several gunshot wounds around her shoulder and arm but she is receiving medical attention at the Wurawura Governemnt Hospital.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen contacted, the Hohoe Divisional Commander, ASP George Gyau confirmed the incident but said they are investigating it,\u201d Macintosh reported.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile Chiefs and opinion leaders in the area are say they may not be able to contain the situation any longer, as the youth are not ready to listen to advice not to retaliate.<\/p>\n
