Scores of workers and school children<\/strong><\/a><\/span> were stranded in parts of Accra on Monday morning following\u00a0the strike action<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n Some of the drivers in Ashaiman and Teshie Nungua reportedly blocked some roads during the protest.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, commercial drivers within the Kumasi Metropolis did not join the nationwide strike by various transport operators.<\/p>\n According to some of the drivers Citi News<\/strong> spoke to, the message did not get to them in time.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the Police have arrested 20 of the drivers<\/a><\/strong><\/span> in connection with the road block.<\/p>\n \u201cFor now the Police have arrested over twenty persons who were blocking roads unlawfully and taking the laws into their own hands claiming they are demonstrating and preventing drivers from working.
