Ghana’s Joshua Clottey is the new\u00a0WBA international light middleweight champion of the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>He beat Australia’s\u00a0<\/strong>Anthony Mundine on Wednesday night (local time). The judges called it\u00a0116-108, 115-109, 117-108 in the Ghanaian’s favour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mundine’s future is in the balance after losing in a twelve-round points\u00a0decision\u00a0to Clottey on Wednesday night for the\u00a0WBA international light middleweight title.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mundine was desperate to gain the international recognition he needs and gets him closer to his dream of facing Floyd Mayweather, however the unanimous points decision loss has closed the chance of that happening.<\/p>\n
