Kwabena Agyepong in an interview with Citi News<\/strong> however said he will not step down<\/a><\/strong><\/span> because he has the mandate of the people and will carry out this mandate until his tenure ends.<\/p>\n Bugri Naabu told Citi News<\/strong>, since Agyepong is refusing to resign, \u201cwe shall get people to join us to get him out of the way. He can\u2019t do any work, he himself knows that he is no longer the General Secretary; he is only saying it and we will not mind him.\u201d<\/p>\n He accused Agyepong of being a mole in the NPP saying, \u201che is not with us; he is only wearing the coat of the NPP and it\u2019s just like him wearing sheep skin.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe don\u2019t mind; he can stay in his house and we shall carry on with our programme and I don\u2019t see where Kwabena Agyepong can go and organize party work in the country; I don\u2019t know where he can go,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n The Northern Regional chairman said the party is capable of winning the 2016 elections without them.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are going to carry out our programme and Isha Allah, we will in the 2016 election without him [Kwabena Agyepong] and Paul Afoko,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n There is tension<\/strong><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the National Organizer of the NPP, John Boadu says the death of Adam Mahama and calls for the removal of Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong have heightened tension within the party.<\/p>\n He told Citi News<\/strong> the development is causing discomfort among party members and sympathizers.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are signs that are clear on the wall and they are the reasons why tensions are a bit high and I think that these are things that political parties go through and we are going to go through it.
