{"id":118318,"date":"2015-05-22T10:58:56","date_gmt":"2015-05-22T10:58:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=118318"},"modified":"2015-05-22T10:58:56","modified_gmt":"2015-05-22T10:58:56","slug":"118318","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=118318","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Globe Productions is set to show the latest play from their collection this weekend at the National Theatre.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For those who missed Thank God for Idiots, The Second Coming of Nkrumah and Don\u2019t Dress for Christmas last year, this is another chance of watching another exciting, hilarious and educative stage play titled <strong>What Can Come Can Come.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Amidst the rhetoric\u2019s of \u201c Yen tie Obiaa\u201d and \u201cDead Goat\u201d, the play seeks to exemplify how such words play a role in the Ghanaian culture as well as our family settings. The theme of the play is centered on pride, its negatives and positives, if any.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The play was written and directed by\u00a0Latif Abubakar of Globe Productions in partnership with National Theatre, Graphic Showbiz and Citi FM.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Synopsis<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Frank, the poor unemployed graduate grew up not knowing who his father was. Anytime he asked about his father, his mother said, \u201cYour father is dead, not exactly dead but dead\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Now an adult, Frank meets and falls in love with the daughter of Mr. Arthur, a man whose \u201cYentie Obiaa\u201d attitude led to an early retirement and a drain on his family\u2019s finances.
