Wapic Insurance (Ghana) has appointed Adedayo Arowojolu as the new Managing Director of the company.<\/p>\n
His appointment took effect on February 27, 2015.<\/p>\n
Adedayo\u2019s appointment follows the redeployment of Razzaq Abiodun who returned to a more senior role in the Group Office on February 20, 2015.
\nMr. Arowojolu is an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).<\/p>\n
He joins the Board with nearly two decades of insurance experience.<\/p>\n
He holds a Second Class Upper Degree with a Bachelors of Arts Degree and a Masters Degree in Communications both from the prestigious University of Ibadan.<\/p>\n
He also holds an MBA from the Lagos State University.<\/p>\n
Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Wapic Ghana, Mr Arowojolu was the Group Head, Oil and Gas responsible for all Wapic\u2019s upstream and downstream clients in Nigeria.<\/p>\n
With the recent confirmation of his appointment by the National Insurance Commission (NIC) of Ghana, Mr Arowojolu assumes the position of Managing Director with immediate effect to oversee the next phase of the Company\u2019s growth.<\/p>\n
