It was an electrifying atmosphere, when the Rap Dacta and his friends treated fans to a night of intimate, yet energetic live band performances, at the \u201cOkyeame Kwame Stripped\u201d Concert, which came off over the weekend\u00a0 at the premium +233 Jazz Bar and Grill.<\/p>\n

The highly interactive event, which saw the Hiplife great answer questions about his life, music, hair-cut, and love life, opened with the Hip ife great performing one of the hits off his Versatile Show album,\u00a0Mr. Versatile<\/em>, and subsequently dazzled fans with Okyeame Kwame classics like\u00a0Woara, Faithful<\/em>,\u00a0Sika, Anaa, Woso,<\/em>\u00a0Tintinto, Te mase, Medo Mmaa<\/em>,\u00a0White Wedding<\/em>\u00a0(performed with Efya)<\/em>, and a host of others.<\/p>\n

With sounds from Patch Bay Band keeping the fans on their feet for almost the entire duration of the show, the likes of Efya, Kodi, Flowking Stone, spoken word artiste; Kwaku Rhyme-Sony, Poet;\u00a0LeGrand Ransford Yartel Asibu, and Tijani also took turns to dazzle the audience with startling performances.<\/p>\n

Citi FM\u2019s Kojo Akoto Boateng and Lawyer Paa Ekow also drove the crowd wild when they upstaged Okyeame Kwame on the night. The duo hijacked the rapper\u2019s microphone and performed\u00a0Masan aba,<\/em>\u00a0a 1999 hit from BRA Kwame\u2019s Akyeame days. The venue became even more charged when Legendary Afro-pop and Jazz musician, Rex Omar, stormed the stage with\u00a0Abiba<\/em>, and\u00a0Dada di da<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The highly enthralling night was capped off with the video premiere of\u00a0Meretwen wo,\u00a0<\/em>a song which talks about the basic things some young men do while preparing for the arrival of a lover.<\/p>\n
