{"id":114460,"date":"2015-05-07T13:48:03","date_gmt":"2015-05-07T13:48:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=114460"},"modified":"2015-05-07T13:49:03","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T13:49:03","slug":"party-leaders-cast-votes-in-uk-general-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=114460","title":{"rendered":"Party leaders cast votes in UK general election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Party leaders have been casting their votes in the United Kingdom general election.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Polls opened at 07:00 BST at around 50,000 polling stations across the UK, which will remain open until 22:00.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 650 Westminster MPs will be elected, with about 50 million people registered to vote.<br \/>\nAs well as the general election, there are more than 9,000 council seats being contested across 279 English local authorities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mayors will also be elected in Bedford, Copeland, Leicester, Mansfield, Middlesbrough and Torbay.<br \/>\nUKIP leader Nigel Farage, Labour leader Ed Miliband, Greens leader Natalie Bennett, SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon, Conservative leader David Cameron, Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg and Plaid Cymru&#8217;s Leanne Wood have all cast their votes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Results declared<\/strong><br \/>\nThe weather has been dry and mild across much of the UK, with isolated showers in some parts of the north of England.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The local votes taking place mean that nearly every voter in England &#8211;
