{"id":113227,"date":"2015-05-02T13:46:22","date_gmt":"2015-05-02T13:46:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=113227"},"modified":"2015-05-02T18:41:25","modified_gmt":"2015-05-02T18:41:25","slug":"nana-addo-named-2nd-most-influential-ghanaian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=113227","title":{"rendered":"Nana Addo named 2nd most influential Ghanaian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2016 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo Addo has emerged as second most influential person in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Renowned pastor of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Mensa Otabil, beat Nana Addo to attain the top most spot out of 99 others in the Ghana Most Influential Awards.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The result put together by eTV-Ghana was obtained after they sampled votes from a cross section of Ghanaians.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ghana Most Influential Awards is an annual event organized by the station to recognize Ghanaians who have made a great impact on the Ghanaian society during the year under review.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Others who made it into the list of Influential people include; President John Dramani Mahama (25th), Citi FM\u2019s Bernadinho Korku Avle, Former Attorney General, Martin Amidu, BET award winner, Sarkodie, Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale among others.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG-20150502-WA0002.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-113230\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG-20150502-WA0002.jpg\" alt=\"IMG-20150502-WA0002\" width=\"384\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG-20150502-WA0002.jpg 589w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/IMG-20150502-WA0002-230x300.jpg 230w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 384px) 100vw, 384px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking to <strong>Citi News<\/strong> after receiving his award, Nana Akuffo Addo thanked Ghanaians for the recognition and pledged to use this award to influence many within the society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cThese are people\u2019s estimation, all I can say is that I am extremely grateful and humbled by this recognition of our modest contribution to improving the life of our country. I\u2019m encouraged that we have increased number [of women] from the previous years.
