Finalists for the maiden edition of the Sleek Make-up and Model Search will take to the runway of the FashionistaGH Fashion Shopping Festival next week.<\/p>\n
A side event that takes place every year at the Shopping Festival, the models and make-up artistes are expected to show off their respective talents ahead of the event\u2019s finale.<\/p>\n
The finals of this year\u2019s event takes place on May 30. The contestants have in the past few weeks engaged in pre-final activities including corporate visits and charity related projects. They were also at the recently-held premiere of Zynel Zuh\u2019s \u2018Love Regardless\u2019 movie.<\/p>\n
The date for the selection of the winners in the two categories is imminent; and the contestants are putting in the best.<\/p>\n
At stake for the winner in the model category is a visit to the Sleek office in London, an official vehicle for the period of reign, a year\u2019s supply of Sleek products, official face for all Sleek promotional materials, an opportunity to work with a modelling agency in South Africa, a cash prize of 3000 cedis and free grooming for a year.<\/p>\n
The runners up get free grooming, an opportunity to take part in key CSR activities of Sleek, and months of free product supply.<\/p>\n
The selected make-up artiste gets a cash prize of 2000 cedis, training with the Sleek office in London, and free supply of products for a year among a host of other tie-ins.<\/p>\n
