Citi News<\/strong>, Coordinating Secretary for USAG, Adams Abubakar \u00a0said political parties should be banned from infiltrating the ranks of student leadership.<\/p>\n\u201cThe University of Ghana\u2019s election that took place was painted NDC and NPP and that is why the secretariat of USAG is saying that its very wrong for politicians to infiltrate the realms of student politics in our dear nation,\u201d he noted adding that “it is very dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n
He recounted that \u201cduring the election we had some people coming from NPP and others as NDC who are not even students and from outside.”<\/p>\n
“They paraded themselves as those who have the election machinery to make somebody win or lose and that has increased the tension as we see it and the politicians should be blamed,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
