{"id":108403,"date":"2015-04-15T06:00:06","date_gmt":"2015-04-15T06:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/?p=108403"},"modified":"2015-04-15T06:11:03","modified_gmt":"2015-04-15T06:11:03","slug":"northern-journalists-involved-in-an-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/?p=108403","title":{"rendered":"Northern journalists involved in an accident"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 9 journalists in the Northern Region have been involved in an accident at Bole.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The journalists were on a tour of some galamsey mining communities in the Bole district with the Minister of Science, Environment and Technology, Mahama Ayariga who was on a two-day working visit to the Northern Region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The accident happened on Tuesday April 14, 2014 not far from the Cocoa Research Institute in Bole but all of them escaped death.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The victims included Abdul Majeed Yakubu of the Ghanaian Times, Albert Futukpor of the Ghana News Agency, Abdul Karim Naatogmah of <strong>Citi Fm<\/strong>, Mohammed Ibrahim of Tamale based Zaa Radio and Alima Bawa of Bishara Fm in Tamale.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-108417\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-.jpg\" alt=\"journalist accident\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-.jpg 400w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident--225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ford vehicle with registration number NR 695-12 veered off the road and crushed under a bridge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-108416\" src=\"http:\/\/4cd.e16.myftpupload.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-2.jpg\" alt=\"journalist accident (2)\" width=\"400\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-2.jpg 400w, https:\/\/citifmonline.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/journalist-accident-2-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Times Reporter, Abdul Majeed Yakubu got a fracture on the left arm whilst Albert Futukpor of GNA had a cut on the right side of his forehead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They have been admitted at the Bole District Hospital whilst the rest were treated and discharged.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">By: Abdul Karim Naatogmah\/citifmonline.com\/Ghana<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>About 9 journalists in the Northern Region have been involved in an accident at Bole.
