A US judge has given a Ghanaian woman, Ellanora Baidoo permission to file for divorce from her elusive husband via a\u00a0Facebook\u00a0message.<\/p>\n
Ellanora\u2019s lawyer says the ruling was made by Manhattan supreme court justice Matthew Cooper.<\/p>\n
The Daily News\u00a0said Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku will be served with the divorce summons via a private Facebook message. It will be repeated once a week for three consecutive weeks or until \u201cacknowledged\u201d by Ellanora Baidoo\u2019s hard-to-find husband.<\/p>\n
Attorney Andrew Spinnell said the couple married in 2009 in a civil ceremony.<\/p>\n
According to him, the relationship began to unravel when the defendant reneged on his promise to a traditional Ghanaian wedding ceremony as well.<\/p>\n
The ruling said Blood-Dzraku has only been in touch with his wife via phone and Facebook.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe tried everything, including hiring a private detective \u2014 and nothing,\u201d said the plaintiff\u2019s attorney, Andrew Spinnell.<\/p>\n
