Anthony Bueteem Gingong will lock horns with the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament Hon. Solomon Boa at the 2016 polls.
The NDC’s Northern Regional Director of Elections, Tanko Rashid, alias computer, described the primary as generally peaceful.
With barely five months to the general elections, Tanko Rashid urged all party members to rally behind the candidate.
He stressed the need for the party to remain united and focus on wrestling the seat from the NPP at the December 7 polls.
Tanko Rashid also pleaded with all party members to go and confirm their names in the electoral roll as the exhibition exercise draws to a close.
