[contextly_sidebar id=”gTfabGfOWsAKuzm8QLmcKWsL9o2LfbFR”]Narrating how these prostitutes carry out their operations to Citi News, the Madina Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Nantongma Aggrey Yakubu, said “the intelligence we gathered indicated that, the robbery happening at Ashomang estates is being caused by sex workers. What is happening is that, the unsuspecting members of the public send these sex workers to their houses and use various methods.”
He added that, “the number one mode of operation is that, these sex workers tell their customers they have not made full payment and they will be exchanging words and in the process, these sex workers call the other armed robbers to attack the victims. The second method these sex workers use is that, when they visit the houses, they look out for valuable items and take them away.”
He further stated that, the suspects were arrested following a covert operation by the Police.
