To provide revellers and event enthusiasts a one stop shop on latest events happening in their various towns and cities, an event mobile application (app), Purlieu will be launched on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the World Trade World Centre in Accra.

The Mobile App seeks to make finding events in the country convenient with the help of a mobile phone. The app is fed with vast collections of events and happenings, from the lesser known dugouts to the most popular venues.

Commenting, the Founder of Purlieu, Yaw Asiedu Diaka said:

“Hundreds of events happen in our cities every day, but it’s difficult to know all the events that are happening in and around town. The introduction of Purlieu will give party lovers the details they need with just a click of a button. The app can be downloaded for free on smart phones, giving users more features and flexibility to discover and experience events happening around them”.

Mr Diaka noted Purlieu allows people to discover the best upcoming events according to their specific passions: arts, film/media, concerts, government, business, sports, festivals, etc. “Purlieu is a marketplace for live experiences that allows people to find and create events all over Ghana”, he added.

“What are you doing this week? Do you want to find those trending events everyone is talking about? Or are you looking for that snuggly date event in your city to take that special someone? Purlieu has you covered” Mr Diaka said.

Purlieu is currently available for Android users, and will be available to IOS users shortly.
