Award-winning Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, has undergone a successful knee surgery in Germany to correct an anomaly that left him limping many years ago.

The young artiste, born Livingston Etse Satekla, whose rise to fame has shocked many in the music industry, got involved in a fatal car crash many years ago, that left him limping and sadly killed his twin brother.

Stonebwoy divulged news of his surgery whiles performing at the MTN Pulse Turn Up Concert held over the weekend.

It is unclear whether the artiste, a proud BET Award winner and VGMA Artiste of the year 2015, has been undergoing a surgery or that he only found it appropriate to do it now considering his wherewithal.

Fan mocked Stonebwoy’s limping?

His surgery also comes barely few months after one of his fans allegedly ridiculed him by limping onto a stage.

The fan in question, is said to have mimicked him more than once. The last of such incident reportedly angered Stonebwoy, who threw his microphone away and walked off the stage.

But the fan later explained that his action wasn’t to mock Stonebwoy but to celebrate his efforts despite his physical harm.

Speaking about his surgery in Germany, Stonebwoy said, in the next three months, he will walk again after physiotherapy.

“You noticed for the past weeks I wasn’t in Ghana. I went to Germany to do my leg…I want to show them that I can do it but I love the way I live, and I love the people I inspire. You see; this my knee, previously it doesn’t bend, but now you see it is bending. I have finished with the surgery, and now I am doing physiotherapy, in the next three months I will walk normal.” he told the audience at the concert.

Watch below a piece of the surgery process uploaded by the artiste on his YouTube channel.
