The Herman Chinery-Hesse story [Audio]

Ghanaian Software Engineer, Herman Kojo Chinery-Hesse on Wednesday shared his life story as a technology entrepreneur on the Citi Breakfast Show, days after he was named on the list of 15 Black Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) Innovators in the world.
 
Herman Chinery-Hesse owns IT company SOFTtribe, the brain behind some innovative software being used in Ghana and around the world.

Ghana’s public payroll system is being run by his software known as Akatua and his programme Hey Julor, has also gained national and international attention.

Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show on Tuesday, the IT guru recounted some of his achievements both locally and internationally.

“I don’t think industry is the future of the planet, I think that the information age beckons, we are almost there.”
