The site of any gas station is not the problem but the safety measures by both the management and the Environmental Protection Agency are the problems.
Go to the civilised world like the US and UK etc where the gas stations are sited right in the neighborhoods and down towns, densely populated and nobody is complaining because the systems put in place are working.
Are we more human beings than them? No, it is only on the highways that gas stations are at discrete distances. Why, do they expect the gas stations to be sited at some miles away from the citizenry? You, same ignorant residents would again complain or demonstrate for being too far.
Demonstrate against the EPA to put out the best safety measures and routine checks on how the safety measures could work.
More than 90% of filling stations in Ghana are sited well in their rightful places but the problems are the safety measures to ensure safety for the residents and the citizenry.
