Today Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication will hold its 4th Annual Lecture on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.

As part of its corporate social responsibilities, Today, three years ago instituted what has now come to become known as the Today Annual Lecture Series to brainstorm on some topical issues that are relevant to the growth of Ghana’s democratic governance.

Since its establishment some nine (9) years ago, the Today Newspaper has contributed to the developmental agenda of the country as well as ensuring that the country’s democratic dispensation is firmly rooted where governments and people in position of authority are held accountable for their stewardship.

This year’s lecture, which is under the theme: Using Digital Technology To Accelerate Business Growth In Ghana, will bring together captains of industries, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, students, development partners, trade unions, communication giants, bankers, security agencies, government appointees, the media and ICT related agencies, to take advantage of the benefits ICT offers for business development in developing countries like Ghana.

The programme will delve into how digital technology can help businesses in the country to grow and contribute to the Ghanaian economy.

The one-day programme, will explore five ways of enhancing business through technology, and will be addressed by Mrs. Yolanda Cuba, the Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, and Mr. Kwesi Boakye Acheampong, a technology expert.

The event will be chaired by the Board Chairman of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Kweku Sekyi-Addo.

The Special Guest of Honour is the Minister of Communications, Hon. Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.
