The rise of tricycles in waste management [Report]

Disposal of waste within the capital, Accra, has become a daunting task as most private sanitation service providers seem not to execute their work efficiently.

The situation, especially in the rainy season, is of great concern to most residents in and around Accra. Their fears are heightened because of the obvious health challenges inappropriate disposal of waste presents.

In this report, Citi News‘ Philip Nii Lartey tells us how the situation has led to the use of tricycles to collect waste from most households in the capital.
